In the Bible there are two Gogs, but they are not the same. The first Gog in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is in the time of the antitypical Davidic Kingdom. The second Gog is in the time of both Gog and Magog, when the unsaved wicked of all the ages in Revelation 20:8 are resurrected after the millennium. For the correct application of Gog, review Ezekiel 36 and 37.

An error regarding Ezekiel 37 is taught by the Jews. They say that this kingdom in the time of Gog, is the modern day new state of Israel set up in 1948 in a symbolic sense. They say it is not a literal kingdom, but based on Ezekiel 38:11, the Shepherds Rod teaches that when the kingdom is set up, it will be a literal kingdom. It has also been interpreted that in Ezekiel 39:2, Gog coming up from the north parts means Russia, because Russia is north of the promise land, and the Shepherd's Rod teaches that Gog is from the region of Turkey. In Ezekiel 38:1-2, "Gog is here said to be the chief prince, the king of Meshech and Tubal. These two cities, Meshech and Tubal were anciently situated in Asia, south of the black sea, where the Turkish Empire now is." 2 TG: NO. 4 pg. 295:2.

Ezekiel 38:11 shows that this Kingdom is a peaceful one; therefore, the interpretation taught by the Jews is an error, because the modern day new state of Israel has no peace. They have bombs, police, bars, ambulances and a lot of unrest. They are not dwelling in safety, but the truth about this kingdom is taught in the Shepherds Rod. Here the whole house of Israel is resurrected in the Kingdom. Along with them are the ensign--the 144,000-Zion and those with them-Jerusalem Isaiah 31:9, the great multitude Rev.7:9-10, and the resurrected saved ones who died in the 3rd angel's message Daniel 12:2-3. See Early Writings (EW) 285:1, Great Controversy (GC) 637:1, Testimonies Vol.7 (T7): 17:4, and these Kingdomites are protected by the Holy Spirit and the angels, as they dwell in safety. This is when the wicked Gog mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39 comes down on the Kingdom to destroy it, but is not able to do so because of the aforementioned protection. Timely Greetings (TG), Vol. 2, No.4.

Gog exist in the time of Babylon

During this period, God's people are being called out of the Babylonian New World Order (NWO) Church/ State Confederacy, the second phase of the NWO, after modern day Assyria [protestant nations with its capital city Nineveh (America)] falls in the Holy land. Isaiah 31:8. The people coming out of there and going into the Kingdom at that time are the great multitude, Rev. 7:9-10.

"The beast's being driven by the woman Babylon, clearly reveals three important truths: first, that the call of God's people to come out of Babylon (Rev. 18:4), is a call for them to come out from among the nations that are symbolized by the beast which she is driving (ruling); second, that the called ones are to come out from her sin-filled dominion because it is to be ruined by the plagues; and third, their coming out necessitates their going into a place where sin does not exist and where there is no danger of the plagues falling. Thus their coming out of her dominion must be their going into God's kingdom." Shepherd's Rod (SR) TR 12:36:2.

When Gog comes down on the kingdom, it is a literal war between him and the kingdom, and the surrounding nations will not be informed about what is about to transpire, " "Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? Ezekiel 38:13 KJV. These neighboring countries and people that ask Gog to tell them his mission, evidently are not allied with him." TG VOL. 2, No. 4:18:2-3.

"Thou shall ascend and come like a storm, thou shall be like a cloud to cover the land, thou and all thy bands, and many people with thee." Ezekiel 38: 9

Ezekiel 38: 9-16 talks about Gog coming like a storm and like a cloud. The expression to "ascend, and come like a storm," suggest that these things are to take place in the time of the airplane." SR 2 TG # 4 295:6.

When Gog comes like a cloud in the latter days, they fall in the mountains of Israel. Ezekiel 38:20.

Like Assyria's fall, Gog also fall in the Holy Land by friendly fire: a confusion causing brother to kill brother. "For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod." Isa. 30:31.

The type of this fall is recorded in Judges 7, when Gideon and three hundred men broke their clay pitchers with lights inside and blew their trumpets. Then the camp of the Midianites became confused in such a way that they began killing each other. In like manner, this is how it will be for Gog. Yahushua calls for a sword of his own brother killing each other. Ezekiel 38:21.

The vivid similarity of the outcome in battle for both Gog and modern day Assyria: [English Speaking Christian World/ Protestant Nations with its capital city Nineveh (America)], shows that it is the same voice, pronouncing the same judgment. This leaves us scratching our heads wondering whether or not Gog and Assyria is the same army, referred to in the Bible under different names, experiencing the same continued judgment at different points in time.

Also, hailstone, fire and brimstone fall upon them to destroy them. Ezekiel 38:22. Then the Kingdomites will burn Gog's weapons for seven years. Ezekiel 39:9.

The Kingdom

This Kingdom which is a latter day Kingdom is made up of (1) a territory, (2) subjects, and (3) a king.

The promise made to Abraham pertaining to the territory of the kingdom states, "…….Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:" Genesis 15:18.

The subjects of the kingdom are the saints from Laodicea (Judah) as well as the great multitude from every nation (Ephraim from all the house of Israel), Ezekiel 37:16-17, and when they come into the Kingdom, they will be given a new heart. This is what Yahushua said, "As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country." Ezekiel 34:12-13. When they arrive in the Kingdom, they will be given a new heart for Yahushua said: "Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God." Ezekiel 36:26-28.

Among the subjects of this kingdom is also the Valley of Dry Bones when the whole house of Israel is resurrected in the Kingdom. Ezekiel 37:1-14. Please read the entire account. "In this resurrection only God's own people Israel, arise with no sinner among them. Moreover, these do not meet the Lord in the air; they are taken to the land of Israel, Palestine. This resurrection, therefore, is not the same as the resurrection of 1 Thessalonians, of the Revelation, or of Daniel 12. It must be a separate one." Shepherds Rod (SR) 2 TG Vol.2 No. 7:13:1

Now let's take a look at who will be king in that Kingdom, for this is what Yahushua said, "And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it." Ezekiel 34:23-24.

In the book of Daniel 2:44-45, this kingdom is mentioned as the stone Kingdom to be set up in the Latter Days. It states the following; "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure."

Moreover, the exact time period of the setting up of this Kingdom with it's subjects Israel and it's king David is reiterated in this text, "Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days." Hosea 3:5.

Many people either have not heard of, or maybe do not fully understand that this is a literal Kingdom, but if Creator Jehovah God said that He will set it up, then we must believe this to be true, because we do know that He cannot lie.

My admonition to you is to strive to be in that kingdom, so that when Gog comes down upon us and is defeated, you too will be one of the Kingdomites who will have both the privilege and the opportunity to burn his weapons for seven years. Ezekiel 39:9.
